Moving in weekend.....Hudson Yard Cafe

This place is only a couple of blocks from my apartment and I am sure it will be a place I will frequent since it is so close and has very reasonable prices. Major disappointment is they have only 3 Beers on tap and they never change them. There was Stella Artois, Guinsess and Yuengling (not a favorite of mine at all) I had the salmon it was very good and reasonable in pricing. The bar was full, but the restaurant empty on a Friday night at 10pm. Even though they do not have my favorite choices on tap, I am sure I will be going here again.

This is a good neighborhood spot.

About my NYC digs... home sweet home

After much searching for a second place in NYC we settled in the West. We wanted to like the East side, coming from LI it is right there after coming through the midtown tunnel, but we kept liking the West Side. I like the charm of a neighborhood still growing and developing we picked the area of Hell's Kitchen/Hudson Yards. I lived in Chelsea in the mid 80's and it was under developed back then and now a popular area.

So though some people think we are too far west and away from subways and a bit off the beaten path, it is nice to come all the way west and have it a bit quiet and be able to walk along the Hudson. But nearby we can walk one block to 9th and have every kind of restaurant at our disposal.
